32 years old. life sucks. Just jacked off for the third time today. Woke up at noon. No job for last 14 months. Drink myself to sleep at night. No date in the last two yrs. Can't stop thinking about I never should have joined the army/been in Iraq. Only leave my apt once a week for food and beer.
Hey man, you have previous army experience. Have you tried joining the security profession, either as a guard or maybe companies like Blackwater (i am not kidding there). You are 32 and still young, life has more meaning then jacking off and getting out for food and beer. I know this spiral because i was stuck in it for a year. It completly wasted me away.I think job wise, i was just looking at becoming an accountant and i tried and went for interviews, but nothing came of them. Then i decided to look at other options since accounting definatly was not working, and Voila i found work in another, more rewarding field. Good luck
Instead of drowning in your own pitty, get up, shower, eat something good for you (piece of fruit) and go down to your local animal shelter, salvation army or church and donate your time and ability to walk around with your original limbs. Be a volunteer and help animals or kids which have been severly abused by people. I guarantee you will not regret it.
I have no idea what you're going through, but when I'm down, it's the small things that pick me up. For instance, if you only go outside once-start to do that more often. People need sunshine and wind on their skin. Don't beat yourself up too bad when you make the wrong choice. Don't congratulate yourself too much when you're right. Your mistakes are half chance like everyone else's. And remember, tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it. Keep your head up, friend.
Yeah i agree with the first comment. Maybe try to seek out work that you can use your army experiance with. By the way thank you for your service, if I was an employer id give you a job on the spot for your committment and sacrifice to serve our country. Much respect.
I am sorry to hear about your hardships, your still young, theres still a ton of hope, things can change. Try to keep your head up.
I dont know whether you believe in God or not, or jesus for that matter. From personal experiance Jesus sure has helped me, given me a peace and joy that I really cant describe. He can help you too, if you accept him as your lord and saviour. He can change you and your life.
