If I could go back in time, I wouldn't have wasted money on a college degree. At forty, I am 18,000 dollars in debt for a degree I don't even use.
You know what I would do if I were you? Find something you like: ----------. Then I would find someone who is an expert or knowledgable in that field. Then I would BEG them to do an INTERNSHIP/APPRENTICESHIP with them. Work for free at first if you have to. LEARN. Absorb what they teach you. Learn the CRAFT/SKILL well. Become an expert/good at what you do. With that skill, you can demand any amount of money- you're not in debt, you have a job (maybe with the place you've just been apprenticing at)
Sure, if you want to work for a corporation- get a degree. Corporations suck. You'll always be just a number to them.
Know a valuable skill- you can someday work for yourself...
That's my two cents!

Look inside yourself, find out who you are. When you know which path in life to follow, then the $$ cost of living doesn't seem as much of a burden. I find the people who are most successful in life are those who aren't too serious about themselves and can balance being idealistic and realistic.
you can do it.... Just start with small things and work your way up. Do a list of things you want to change and start working on that, and start changing them.
