well to start with i am a 17 yr old guy currently in high school i was always good in academics but since the last yr my whole life have gone downhill i became an addict i couldn't concentrate on my studies my grades started falling down i was even in a situation to be dropped from school and now my future which was once promising is now heading to nowhere. Every day i woke up taking a new pledge to study again but i couldn't do. My addiction is really serious. God this sucks with no future no university to go no job eventually. I completely wasted my life and talent. i have considered suicide but thought it too painful. This world has nothing to offer to me. To see my life like this and my dreams shattered makes me miserable.I wish someday i go to sleep and never woke up again. Any advice will be very helpful.

Hey buddy, suicide is never the answer. You have a lot going for yourself still. What ever you are addicted to needs to be resolved first. Being so young you still have a lot of time to bounce back. There is nothing wrong with going to a J.C. before transferring to a University. Talk to someone about your addiction and get help with that. While you are at a J.C. you can explore a lot of different avenues without wasting money on tuition. Keep positive. Talk to a guidance counselor at your high school, your parents and a good friend. Things will be fine and once your head is clear and not so foggy with what ever you are taking you will see that to. Get help with your addiction and everything else will fall in line.

Addiction to gay porn is nothing to laugh about. You really need to get out and about and meet some of the neighborhood animals roaming around. My best advice to you would be to drop out of school, get a big bag of chicken crank, and go blow the bums in the back of Johnny Quik for spare change, which they don't have since they're bums behind Johnny Quik, so you'll get nothing except an STD probably.

Try JESUS. He's the answer for the world today and for people in your situation. i was in something similar but found Jesus. And If your not a believer than you should start with the sinners pray. Or if your already a believer than revive your relationship with him :)

17? Wow, so fresh and young. Get some help about your addiction. Talk to your parents they might help you out. You said you're intelligent use it. Don't waste your life, honey. I would kill to be that young again. Do something now to change your life around. Hang in there. Good luck. :)

I am a graduate school student in psychology. Obviously if u r doing drugs your grades will go down.

Your life is not over at all, it can still be great. Go to a great therapist!!! You can still make college, I bet your environment is causing you to do drugs, etc. The Certain environments are not healthy for us, and the combination of that and drugs can make us depressed. You truly need help, and if you get help, it could change your whole life and future. It will help you to have a really good life. Please get help before you harm yourself from too many drugs. You can still have one of the best lives of everyone in your high school, even the valevictorian. Make sure the therapist is really good. Trust me, find a great therapist, and your addiction can stop and your life in time will become great and happy
