Mi vida (My life)

I am originally from Mexico. Yes, the country south to the U.S. Anyways, I was bullied since first grade. I was so dumb, and I guess that my lack of interaction with people my age made me an easy target for bullies. I'm ashamed of saying so, but teachers in the Mexican public school system suck ass big time. During Fall and Winter they just gave us an assignmet and went to the little teachers' room to drink coffee and only came back till they thought the students were done. They did that during Spring and Summer, but instead of drinking coffee, they drank a limonde or a coke. I remembered that a group of kids always took my stuff away from me, called me names, and even hit me. At some point I was afraid of going to school and yes, I even thought about suicide. All of that went on for about four or five years. When I say "all of that" I mean hard core bullying. After that I only got mildly bullied because I started growing up and was now one of the tallest kids in my class. Yeah, It was one thing that the other kids made bullied me, but the teacher also took the bullies' side. I remember one time. I think it was either in second grade or fourth grade that I had been taking so much bull shit from everyone and I just exploded. I started yelling at everyone, my face got all red, I was crying and throwing things at my classmates, I said every cuss word I knew at the time, and at the end I hit a wall with my head and the impact was so strong that I broke the glass of the window that was on that wall. After that I lost conciousness. When I came back to my senses my teacher was back in the classroom yelling at me. She didn't even care that I was bleeding from when I hit the wall with my head. She said "José, you are gonna have to apologize to each and everyone of your classmates. You are the worst student I have ever had. Besides having one of the lowest grades and being the ugliest piece of shit (yes, she actually said that... the bitch was pissed off), you come here just to destroy school property!" Wow! Some words of encouragement, huh? Then everyone in class started telling the teacher exactly what happened. Suddenly they had forgotten that some kids took my bookbag and my money and that after being pushed to the floor they all laughed at me. Everyone agreed that I just suddenly started going berserker. At first I wasn't gonna be suspended, but the parents of the other kids were very concerned, so some of them talked to the school officials and I was suspended for three weeks. Oh yeah, and I had to pay the broken glass. In Mexico they don't think that bullying is such a big deal. In fact, they don't even have word for it in spanish. They can call it abuso which just means abuse, but in some articles that I have read they just use the word "bullying" in English. Probably if they had given it more importance to this issue as they do in countries with a first world education my life wouldn't suck as much as it does now. I've told some of my friends about this and they just tell me to forget about it and continue living my life. I don't think you would know the results that bullying can have on somebody's life unless you were bullied yourself. Believe me when I say that I've tried to become a more self-confident person with a higher self steem. I just can't. This is why my life sucks big time. I'm not sure if anyone is gonna read this, but it's a great idea to open this forum.

Yo brah. I hear you. I have a similar story. This occured when I was in 3rd grade during recess. I wasn't always picked on but when something comes up, I often become an easy target because I'm either Asian American, have a different name, or have a deformed ear (birth defect). Anyway during recess, another classmate just would not stop calling me names or say: "fuck you" the entire time during kickball. At first, it was ignoring him which then evolved to telling the PE coach. He didn't seem to care, so it came down to taking matters into ones won hands when my patience depleted. I grabbed an orange cone and threw it at the kid. As a result the entire kickball team just suddenly came at in droves. I was surrounded by over 30 kids attempting to grab me. Self defense led me to kick and punch, eventually to biting.
This story ended with me being interrogated by over 5 teachers, and the other kid(although questioned), who had a record among teachers for lying pardoned without detention or anything. I received a week suspension, and recommendations for psychiatrists for biting three students in the arm. But hey, what does one do if he feels that he's already been unjustly treated by authority, yet faces a large posse?

Another story occurred in the same year during class time. One of the bullies who though some teachers didn't like, still had enough parental help to achieve good academic records. I was raised by a single mother, so when this douche bag decided to make comments about her such as: "Your mother is so fat that you ran around her and got lost.." completely out of nowhere really set me over the roof. I responded by yelling at him, and throwing things at him. I was taken outside and interrogated by 2 teachers while the bully managed to cry his way out of it. He later on played it off like he never cried before, while I received a punishment I don't particularly remember.

Another story was pretty much identical to the second, only this time I cut an annoying backstabbing classmate's arm with a pair of scissors after he made mocking comments about my mother. I was sent to the principle after that. Frankly I still think that kid deserved it.

Also I was suspended twice in middle school for being attacked by bigger black kids. On the first account I was punched straight in the mouth and began bleeding tremendously. The natural act was to retaliate. Funny thing was a teachers saw the entire incident and even told the black kid to stop; but did nothing until I was injured and had retaliated with one punch only. The both of us were suspended, and I had to go to the nurse. THe other time was a completely passive resistance to another black kid's assault, which somehow ended up with the both of us suspended.

Schools in general don't seem to care about their students' home situation or psychological development. THey don't want trouble on their end. Sometimes a lack of parental support, understanding, or protection doesn't alleviate the situation either.

Pardon my venting, but my point is brah; I feel you.

I am Japanese and stopped reading at that smart assed comment.
So grow a pair and grow up cock licking faggot.

Hey smartass, I think he wrote (typed) that because he knows everyone knows where Mexico is. If you ask me he was just probably trying to make his story more interesting, but what do I know about creative writing? I would've thought he was a complete idiot, but if you read his whole story you will see that this person is very educated as the way he writes is at college level. Oh, and I wonder if you are that badass in person insulting people and shit. Oh, I'm scared! Cyber thug, don't hurt me! I mean, cyber yakuza. LOL. If you're Japanese, I'm Chinese (which, BTW, I really am).

China>>Japan

I was bullied to the point of nriayrcg a baseball bat in my bag to fend off groups of attackers who would follow me home daily from school even though they lived no where near me. My name was "faggot". I was punched in the face minutes before English class and after jumping over two rows of desks to get away from the much larger and older assailant was sent to the principal's office for "creating a ruckus" and getting punched was probably my fault It continued from the time I was in 6th grade until the end of my junior year when finally the bullies graduated and my athletic accomplishments began to outweigh the fact that I shaved my legs for swimming.I carried all of my books in my bookbag and wore my jacket all day long at school to avoid having to spend any more time than required exposed in the hallways. I used the bathroom right before I left for school in the morning and as soon as I came home. Sometimes, if I was certain no one was waiting around the bend in a car to beat the shit out of me, I had to stop and pee in the woods halfway between my school and the house because I just couldn't make it. Several times kids would pile up in a group outside my classes and wait to beat the living shit out of me as I walked out the door. The teachers rarely did anything but shoot me pitiful glances. Only twice did they ever ask the kids outside to leave. They just moved around the corner and into the stairwell and waited there instead.I know about bullying and I will plan for my child to be much better prepared than I was and I will do everything to go about this in a much better way than my parents did. My parents did little to help except offer words of encouragement. On one particularly scary day my father took off work and showed up ready to protect me. The kids kept their distance and he spent the entire ride home screaming at me for, "wasting his fucking time."Bullying sucks.

Did anyone else nocite how nicely the yellow lines in your Now Freeze! photo imitate the yellow ice pop rectangles in the previous photo, though perpendicularly? The old designer in me is struggling to get out .These look so summery and refreshing! My sister would love these, though probably without the rum [she's 13 ].
