I'm sorry to hear that, being a military wife isnt a walk in the park either. Although her actions are unjustified once you learn to forgive and your heart heals you'll see it differently. I cant imagine being alone more often than not running a household on your own is easy. By no means I am diminishing what you do, my respects to you but often the sacrifices that a wife makes when she is left behind go unseen. dont forget she is also human.

The problem is that the disease which his 'wife' gave him may not heal. Most people have lived alone managing a household at some point in their lives, a situation common in life. A society cannot function efficiently if the woman whores around while the man is away working.

In a normal culture, that is, a society with the cultural norms which have existed everywhere till the past 80 years or so, this man would be obligated to kill his wife.

If you have no kids I would suggest leaving her now. My wife had an affair on me almost 30 years. I didn't find out about it until about 5 years after the affair and stayed with her because we had three children at the time. We have had a relatively good life, but in all honesty, I never felt the same way about her. When a wife betrays you, you will never see her in the same light. In my eyes, a part of her belongs to another man and she is not my soul mate. Don't put yourself through a lifetime of distrust and a loveless marriage. Go find a woman that will be loyal to you and share a lifetime of romance with her!
