Life sucks because everyone is so self-absorbed, fearful and cares about illusions. For example, most people have stupid, media-programmed dreams that will never come true, and then while they fantasize about these dreams they take jobs at crappy scam companies that offer rip off products to gullible people.
For example, people work at Mcdonalds instead of running their own business or working for a hometown company, because all of us would rather shop at Mcdonalds than go to a hometown business which offers good food. Mcdonald's isn't really even that much cheaper. I think it is because we are all socially awkward and do not like to communicate intimately with locals.
Then you have people working for pharmaceutical companies, or big department stores, or being lawyers for these big department stores. And they aspire to get big paychecks, or at least a little promotion, so they can buy products advertisers make them think they need. They "wanna be livin' dat good lyfe" or they want to "stay classy" or whatever. And it is all a corporate illusion. They feel embarrassed if they don't have overpriced products, when in reality they are being had by a cesspool of lies and greed.
So they live their whole life clinging to a job at a company, which only exists because greed, gullible consumers, and because people are willing to work for them.
Even eternally valuable jobs like farming and carpentry and education have been corporatized and turned 'evil'. Red tape is everywhere, and it is all just to feed someone's greed. And the greediest people don't even need anymore money. It is incredible how little we really need to survive!
At the base of every company is a pyramid of greed, where most of the money goes up to the top, to people who don't really even need it, and then underlings cling fearfully to their jobs, or even worse they try to brutally climb their way up.
And why does everyone do this? Because they don't overcome their fear. They're afraid of what others will say, afraid of being alone, or being homeless. But if enough people said "I am not going to participate in this sickening system" then we could all walk the streets together and make a new society, and no one would be able to stop them.
The only reason life sucks is because we still try to participate in the evil system. We care more about money than being true to ourselves. We would rather have a flashy car than peace of mind. We envy others and are cruel to those who have less just so we can feel better about ourselves.
And we are irresonspible with sex. We either sterilize ourselves so we can feed perversion without consequence, or we abort our own children because we couldn't control ourselves(and yeah there are exceptions, but most of the time we are just lustful or allow ourselves to be controlled sexually by others out of fear or lust).
To add to the pile of self-induced misery, there are too many people because we aren't responsible. And if there are too many people there logically won't be enough work. How many people do we need? Society is becoming analogous to a family with a lot of kids. A few members of the family work for everyone else. And why? Because people can't control their lust for sex and are disrespectful to the balance.
So it is really our own fault, but not in the way we may imagine it. We need to take responsibility for our actions, but also we need to be true to ourselves. For example, if you do not want to work for a greedy company because you don't care about it or its greed, then don't work for it. Don't support with your slavery and work(for pocket change) a company that doesn't really make the world better, but makes it worse.
In a heaven you imagine, are there companies that take advantage of gullibility, and push dangerous medications on people when people don't really need it? Or are there companies that make billions and billions, yet their employees can't even afford a one room apartment after working 40 hour weeks?
Is there not enough room, not enough food? There is, but people are just self absorbed and they don't want to admit their own greed and stinginess or they are unwilling to say ENOUGH and sacrifice humanity through not cooperating. You may end up homeless, or suffering, but all revolutions are won through suffering. | |
