im 13. my parents dont understand me. i have no idea who my true frinds are. im bipolar ans stubborn. i have megalophobia. im ugly. no guy is ever gonna fall for me. i am have horrible social skills. i have cut myself several times. when i was 10 my mother took me away to texas and i was in a whole different world. the kids treated me like i was some filthy animal. i dint know anyone. my mom constantly yelled at me because of her high blodd pressure. my uncle didnt do anything about it. when my dad finally took me out of texas and back home, i thought everything was ok. i was wrong. my mom came back soon after but my uncle came with her. she treid to stay with me and my dad but she went to stay with my uncle. my parents got divorced. my mom constantly calls him and tells him that she isnt happy where she is and asks him to pick her up. it may sound like this wouldnt effect my but it does. mu uncle usually blames me for what my mom does. also when i was second grade, i beat people up. mainly just this one girl. i wouldnt hurt her just because though. i would only do it if she called me a name or tricked me into doing something. everytime something seems to go right in my life, something ruins it. | |
can boyfriends. You have enough to fret about right
now as do a lot of young people your age, that really
isn't anything new, though. It sounds like your mom, uncle, and other family are having serious problems of their own and you got sucked into them simply because you are a family member. I knew young people like that when I was your age. Some did fine, some did not. Some died young. The ones that did fine seemed to detach themselves from their situations (not the people) and worked around them the best they could by developing positive interests and pursuing them come hell or high water. Looks didn't matter, some were good looking some were not. I know looks and acceptance are extremely important to juvenile aged people but looks are not the most important thing. Living is, right now. You have plenty of time to get pretty later but you have to have a later. You can't really change the
people around you, especially the adults, but you can concentrate on taking care of YOU when others fail in
their responsibilities. Not a bad thing to know how
to do anyway as many people never learn how to take care
of themselves all through their lives - and suffer for it.
Don't get too wrapped up in the negative things going on around you. Think about what you might enjoy that won't harm you and pursue those things. Hobbies, hula-hoops, boat making, dog grooming, whatever turns your crank and try not to let others interfere with that. Simply prepare for YOUR future so that you can have one and enjoy it. Good, bad, or ugly, your present life WILL fall by the wayside much faster than you think... don't fall with it
and miss out on the best parts of your life that are
yet to come but are up to you to make happen. Now,
how are you going to do that for you? Figure it out and
get busy doing it.
