I'm not really sure why I typed "life sucks" into google, or how I ended up on this site, but the fact is life does suck. This site seems to prove that others feel the same way.
My problem is I do not "feel" any more, if I ever did the ability left me in childhood when I was too young to remember what it felt like. Oh I use the word to try and express to others what is going on in my head but the truth is, I feel very little if anything at all. I'm an emotional desert, hollow, wondering what the hell I'm doing here, too much of a coward to end things I plod through life in my own little world... waiting... I only wish I knew what I was waiting for.
I could type for ages about my life and what has happened on my way to this place, but the truth is its all pretty irrelevant. I'm here in my world, one so similar to yours, yet so far removed.
I have learnt what to do and what to say in certain situations, I have a girlfriend and children from past and present relationships, I try to fit in, to conform to society, to be what everyone else wants me to be but in reality I'm a shell, empty, devoid of any emotion that allows me to love and live happily.
My only hope is that the next life, if there is one, is better than this. | |
