My wife and I bought a nice home a couple of years ago. We didn't have much difficulty paying the mortgage at first. Then, things got slower, my hours got cut and I had to find another job. I found another job, and then it slowed down there too, and I was told I was going to be laid off. Right about that same time, my wife had a miscarriage and she had to had surgery, so that amounted in thousands in medical bills. As my imminent lay-off approached, I though I could get another job, so I left there, and it turns out I can't find another job because everything is slow, and no one's hiring. We did a few things to fix the house up, to try and sell it. We had to fight to get into this house, because a few couples wanted it, but the owner's accepted our offer, but now we can't even get anyone in the front door to look at it. Our mortgage is draining us, my truck is about to explode, my car's alternator went out, my wife's front axles on her car are going out, we still owe money to the hospital, and I can't find work. Even when I do find work, we'll be in the hole. | |
