I agree to the above comment.I don't have a love life for nearly 11 years, and the best thing is to just forget about love. It would be much worse if you think about love all the time and not getting it. You will suffer less if you just redirect some thoughts elsewhere.
it doesnt matter, the thoughts always come back and its a constant torture that your dream of ever being married wont come true, to add not ever have any kids with your spouse because your bodyclock is ticking fast away.
The Dash
I read of a man who stood to speak
at the funeral of a friend.
referred to the dates on her tombstone
from beginning to the end.
He noted that first came her date of birth
and spoke the following date with tears,
but he said what mattered most of all
was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time
that she spent alive on earth.
and now only those who loved her
knew what that little line was worth.
For it matters not. how much we own:
the cars. the house. the cash.
what matters most is how we lived and loved
how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard
are there things you'd like to change.
for you never know how much time is left
that can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough
to consider what's true and real.
And always try to understand
the way other people feel.
Be less quick to anger.
And show appreciation more,
and love the people in our lives
like we've never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect
and more often wear a smile,
remembering that this special dash
might only last a little while.
So. when your eulogy's being read
with your life's actions to rehash,
would you be proud of the things they say
about how you spend your dash?
Love is an illusion. Friends disappear when you are down on your luck. The reality is that nobody will ever like you unless you find your own self respect. When you decide to like yourself, people will sense that and become friends. An old phrase the my grandparents taught me "laugh, and the world laughs with you, cry, and you cry alone". I never understood this until recently, but nobody likes emo depressoids. Get a pet dog or maybe a hamster. Get a hobby. Go visit an amusement park. My favorite mood elevating movies are "Animal House", "Used Cars" and an amusing book called "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas".
BULL, how about its the people you keep meeting are all for themselves! Hobby's arent the total answer when you come home afterwards and remind yourself you have no friends and if you meet them from a hobby, chances are with my track record, they'll be shallow people. So basically if you cant control crappy things from happening, you give up on life period.
I only recommended to get a hobby in order to focus on yourself for a few hours a week in order to understand who you really are. A hobby such as rock climbing or keeping reptiles will allow you to meet other with the same interests. Then, when you understand yourself more, you can go out and meet new people and have a better attitude on life.
The word it "trigger", not "triger".
The word "Triger" is the name of a tributary of the Amazon River, which at 1,874 miles, is not only the 4th longest tributary of the Amazon, but the 10th longest river in the world.
I wish I didn't have a family. I have real friends because I'M the one who kept them. I'll have a "love-life" when i meet someone i love. I'm going to become a psychiatrist. Life is meaningful. Life sucks, sometimes.
Get my point? All these decisions are up to you. Get up and think. Its hard, but just think about everything and how YOU are going to fix it all.
Everyone posts about all of their problems. Many of them have created their own bad situations and want sympathy. If you really want your life to change, I will introduce you to the only person that can really change your life. Go get a mirror and look into it. The person you see is THAT person. It is YOU. You have to take responsibility for your happiness. Don't rely on others to do it for you because it will NEVER HAPPEN! Find the things that make you happy and do those things. Once you are happy, people will want to be around you because it is infectous.
