Ive read a few stories on this site by now, and commented on a few as well.
I feel genuine empathy for some yet not for others. I won't go into detail
about my own problems, ( which are largely psychological though also physiological though sometimes i dont really know )Anyway back to the point.
The following themes ive noticed in some of the comments and stories couldnt be more irritating: Ill elaborate on each one. By the way my reason for doing this is actually an attempt to help those who really need it, and are being fed a load of rubbish from others,
1 Have faith in God - Wow,where to begin and end with this one? I could write a whole essay, but ill save you from that. In the world we live in, and the tales of desperation of seen on this website, do you really think that praying is going to get you anywhere? The answer in case you havent figured it out NO.
Its all well and good if you want to be religious and it helps you, but suggesting it as a solution to others who have experienced hell, without deserving it, is plain irresponsible.
2 My life sucks cause my parents wont buy me an ipod - Again wow, there are people on this site with, how to put it? REAL PROBLEMS, do us a favour and stop taking up space on this site which is a lifeline and an outlet to those in need with your rubbish petty problems.
3 The high and mighty - I read a post about the 12 reasons you might be unhappy
or some garbage like that. Now seriously the person who came up with that must have a superiority complex that cant be measured by any means on this planet. Who are they to say oh these arent excuses, why arent you perfect, turn it into a positive. WHich leads me to my next point.... which ill make the last one as i shouldnt ramble on to long
4 The put on a happy face - Is that any advice to give someone who is at the point of questioning the value of their own life? Do you not think that these people who are genuinely at the crossroads, havent maybe already tried being positive. Ill use myself as an example for this one. In short, i have got to the point in my life where i have severe anxiety / depression which has lead to many problems affecting every area of my life. I have tried: medication, (both natural and otherwise), meditation, exercise, various diets, isolation, positive outlook, blah blah you get the idea, people really shouldnt try to simplify someone elses circumstances.
We are all important, we all deserve to be heard, why some people put stupid comments boggles the mind, if their so great, why dont they have better things to do, like sleep with their supermodel partner or something, throw $1oo dollar bills of their penthouse? You get the point. Their probably bullshi$%ing as it is. Anyway hopefully this post helps someone, i wish all genuine visitors to this site the very best. | |
