childcare? local government sucks!

I am a single parent to a 1 year old. All I want is to give her the best life possible but somehow local authorities don't agree. They go on about getting single parents back into work and education but don't help in any way. I work part-time and am supposed to be returning to college in 2 weeks to finish a law course. Thanks to local authority childcare providers this is no longer an option. Just been told that after waiting 46weeks for a reply my daughter has not been accepted into nursery as they have too many social work cases in need of places. This sucks big time! So thanks to alcoholics and drug addicts who have kids then either are too off their face to take csre of them or just don't give a shit my life is in the gutter! If it was upto me they wouldn't be allowed to have children and even if they did the kids should be taken off them! They are ruining everyones lives not just their own. Funny thing is I was hoping to specialise in child protection law to help these poor kids who are brought up in the daily shit of junkys in glasgow but thanks to their parents this isn't possible. Now that sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there a daycare available at the college you want to attend? Can anyone loan you money to pay for child care while you are going to school that you could pay back after you get a full-time job? Is there a friend or family member who is kind and loving and good with kids that might be able to help you out by watching your child while you are in class, maybe in return for watching their kid (when you aren't working or in class) or doing some other chores they'd like help with? (Be very careful before leaving your kid with anyone unless you are sure they will keep your kid safe from harm. As you know, your child is your best treasure and cannot be replaced.)

Even though it pains you to be put in the back of the line in getting child care assistance, it's important that those kids from troubled homes and didn't ask to be born into a dysfunctional situation, are placed in a safe environment. Maybe if you think of it like that, it won't hurt so much.

Even if you have to postpone your plans to finish your higher education until your daughter is school-age and you won't have to worry about paying for (so much) child care, you can still eventually achieve your goals.

people like that shouldnt be able to have kids , there should be some type of test ppl gotta take before then can have kids i've been saying this for the longest.i'm sorry to hear about what your going its so unfair , just be strong for daughter.
