I'm 23, I have no job, no job skills, no girlfriend, no friends, live in a ghetto, and have been rejected from military & police service. I also have chronic health problems due to the stress I've been under (just turned 23, and I have ulcers, high blood pressure, depression, lethargy, lack of energy & shortness of breath, and more. What fun)
The wonderful thing we call family hasn't helped--they sent my brothers and stepsister to school all expenses paid, my entire family has great jobs, fancy degrees, etc--yet I keep driving around in a beat-up dodge, trying desperately to make money while they make excuses as to why they can't help (my parents make $250,000 a year at government jobs. They have the income to at least help). My "best years", right out of school, were spent desperately clinging to temp jobs and trying to make ends meet. My only friends are three cats I rescued.

thears love somewear.
sory for bad english,
Of course there are 2 sides to every story, but it seems inexcusable for someone to make $250,000 a year and not even offer to help out their own kid in this economy.
I got rejected from the military for high blood pressure at 27 and am in a similar situation to you right now. I know what you're going through and you are not alone. you have my compassion.
