hey dude im 28 and fresh outta the ol military hur hur.. shits retarded, wanna go over seas and risk your anus for fat ass old politicians? be my fuckin guest bro, i was 0336 machine gunner marine corps, fallujah you fuckin name the place i've probably been there.. the opening of the war was the worst, we've been ordered to open fire in to crowds of people due to a terrorist threat.. how many people have i killed? my guess is around 15-35.. do i feel goo about it? NO. Do i contimplate suicide? YES. My dad is a jerk toward me in a lot of ways, but even he paid for college for me. You parents really do sound like terrible selfish people to not offer you help to go to trade school or something. 250,000 is a huge amound of money and there is no excuse to not help a family member out. Not even lend money, but GIVE. They should GIVE you an education out of LOVE. That, or help you get a car or something.

Of course there are 2 sides to every story, but it seems inexcusable for someone to make $250,000 a year and not even offer to help out their own kid in this economy.

I got rejected from the military for high blood pressure at 27 and am in a similar situation to you right now. I know what you're going through and you are not alone. you have my compassion.

My question is why will your family not help you??? If your are 23 you can apply for a grant now. Its for Adults 23 and over. Give it a try. You are young, you cannot have it all at a young age. Take pride in your slef, quit sweating the samll stuff. Who cares if you are driving a old car. If you want to go to college than go, you can have all the material things later in life when it counts. Learn to excercise some of your stress off, go back to church. Take a postive look at your life, and things will get better. Talk to your parents let them know how you feel, in a respectful way. Only you CAN MAKE YOUR LIFE BETTER. Say your prayers
