Life Sucks

I have 2 kids and a husband. My husband is in school full-time and the school can't find him a job doing what he's schooling for. Our bills keep piling up, gas prices are sky-rocketing and I don't know how we're going to survive. He's applying to Blockbuster and anywhere else that's hiring and he still can't find a job. We can't live off of my paycheck alone and I don't know what we're going to do. How are we expected to live when gas prices and the cost of living keep going up and employment keeps going down?! And when I see those ridiculous celebrities on TV buying mansions and $2000 pairs of shoes it makes me want to vomit. I don't know how I'm going to feed my kids and they're worried about plastic surgery. I couldn't even afford to commit suicide. How sad is that?

I feel for you, financial struggles can be crushing, especially when you have kids. Just try your best to budget and keep pushing. If your husband is in school then you can look forward to graduation and hopefully a better job down the road. As far as finding jobs now, it's unfortunately often more who you know rather than what you know. Ask any friends who have acceptable jobs if they know of openings. If one will vouch for your husband at his work that often goes a long ways. You may also look into various programs like WIC (if you live in the states) to provide a little added assistance. Best of luck to you. I know its hard but it really should get better with time.

Random job suggestion, I worked part time for UPS loading trucks when I was a student with young kids. Your husband would need to be relatively fit and reliable, but the hours do not conflict with school. The pay was mediocre, but they were often hiring and provided family medical benefits which was huge for us.
