Unable to fit in

My name is K. and I'm a land-surveyor. I'v never been able to fit with people. The things they do just seems completely alien to me and I'v never been able to adjust myself to it. I don't even look like I belong here; my shape seems completely out of place with everything else. So, needless to say I'v been alone my entire life (parents never liked me, no friends, no relationships, I'm in my mid 30's and have never once had a special lady friend, ect...). I'm a complete misfit to this world. I just don't get it. I'v tried acting like I fit in but everyone seems to know that it's just an act. I'v tried religion but that only made me accept my inability to fit in. I'm just cursed to being a complete outsider. Now I spend my life surveying - observing what others do, but never being able to perticapate in it.

Some people just weren't made for society. It's not your fault, you're simply a circle peg that doesn't fit into the square hole. My advice would be to buy a cabin out in the woods. You can live as you please. Every now and then you can go into town at night and drag a woman back to your layer. After you've had your way with her you have a few options. First, you can keep her there forever, as a kind of pet. Second, you can chop her up into little cubes and spread them around. Third, you can release her. It's up to you!

Why drag woman back to your lair? Sheep are much nicer, after you get rid of all the fleas, you know this, frog, as I borrowed your favorite sheep last week.
Seriously, though, friends are overrated. I have never had more than a few friends at any one time. Get a pet dog. Get a pet reptile, as when they become rowdy, you can always turn off their heater for awhile and they will mellow out.

Living vicariously isn't really that bad. You avoid the problems that ensue with romantic relationships that break apart. I am 29 and single and only been on first dates and its not too bad. You need to find a hobby or interest like watching football or listening to music, playing video games, traveling, etc. You have a job in an era where many do not. I know people at work that are in their mid/late 50s and never had a girl friend. Their entire life is working on a copying machine or delivering mail to other offices. You work in an architectural field. Whenever you feel lonely just think that its everyone else's loss and to hell with them. Watch prison shows and cops shows and will see people way worse off than you and it should make you feel better. Learn to be a cynical negativist.

You sound like me, the male version of me anyway. My solution is to get a pet. They don't let you down and love you unconditionaly. I'm invisable to everyone, I think animals (even the meanest feel sorry for me), get a pet. God I hate waking up every day.

its okay... I never fit in either but i dont care what other people think about me they can fuck off for all i care... i do my own thing and do what ever the hell i want... trust me it gets alot better if you dont care about what other people think about you or what they say or if they look at you funny..... being you is the best way to live life
