When it rains it pours!

Dropped out of school in 9th grade, went back got my GED then joined the Army. Stayed for six years before incurring a disabling spinal injury. VA put me through school to get a BS degree and I wound up working for the college I went to. I was there for 4 years and was a model employee. I got promoted and wound up working for an administrator's "acquaintance" who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. He was intimidated by me and started a campaign of harassment to get me fired. It worked. I lost my job and my house in the same week. Me my wife and four kids are now going to have to move in with the in-laws. I don't think I have to mention how hard it is to find a job these days. Everything I've worked for has come crumbling down around me and it was no fault of my own. Life Sucks!

You tolerated harassment. That was your mistake. Don't get mad, get even. Find a sleazy lawyer and sue. We, in California, have tens of thousands of sleazy lawyers, take your choice!

you have to be positive. maybe living with your in-laws is a blessing. you have to count your blessings. Yes its hard to find a job these days. I am a nurse and its been since august and i cant find a job even thoug theres so many nursing homes and hospitals where i live. But you will find that job you need, just keep applying. yeah i hate all those evil people that get others fired. The same thing was done to me, another nurse lied and told my boss that I was sleeping at work. Now how can anybody sleep at a nursing home? Thats was so stupid. Then my boss called me and said I have to resign or else theyll fire me. It pisses me off there are evil people like that in our world. We have to work our way up again. i dont know if you read the bible or go to church, but i read that sometimes God breaks us down only to build us up again. But we have to know that we cant do it alone. Thats why we need God's help.

I can really realte at the same time too. My hubby got back from deployment in Feb. and we've been trying for Active Duty orders as well. We are in that same limbo stage. Money has been really really tight too but luckily we are now both working while we're waiting on actie duty to hopefully pick up. Fighting over money is the worst and it's so frustrating. I really hope you guys are able to get picked up for civilian contracting soon. It's okay to have our moments of frustration. Sure things are harder somewhere else, but right now things are hard for your family. You are unbelieveably blessed and I'm sure there is a bigger plan that God has in mind. Hugs!
