I did a three card spread for you- here is what the cards told me:
Your Past: The MERLIN- Prince of Pentacles (Reversed):
The reverse meaning of this card may mean that you are preoccupied with material items and getting more. This kind of thing may have even turned into an obsession that needs to be addressed. There may be a need to shift to a positive way of thinking and breaking of what is going on around you. You may need to stop and take a moment to smell the roses, so to speak. Take some time and relax in the world around. This may open the mind to the real meaning that is behind this card...
The Present: CHILDHOOD- The Six of Cups: Naked and Vulnerable the Child returns to the GREAT MOTHER. The Inner Return to Childhood. Hidden Memories of childhood, deep memory, old fears, loves and longings, living in the past or/and searching the past for help...The Six of Cups is a card of childhood, nostalgia, naïve happiness, and generosity. You want to return to the happy memories of your past, whether as a child, teenager or adult. Oftentimes, though, these memories are indeed a thing of the past and reflect aspects of your life that have since vanished. You may feel that the only way to connect to this happiness is to escape into the past where you can reflect on your happy and beautiful memories, instead of dealing with current challenges. This is fine if you are simply taking a walk down memory lane but it is important that you live in the present and accept your current circumstances rather than always living in the past...
The Six of Cups suggests that you need to take time out to heal, look back on the past and all the good that lies there. During this period of reflection, there is no need to focus on the negative. Instead, bring all of the positive energy from the past into your present and your future. The fallen cups are now full and upright again but with blooming flowers that cannot be spilled or washed away. Now that you have looked back, the way forward will be clear and enlightening.
Lastly, Your Future Card: DEFEAT- The Five of Swords (Reversed): As a card of conflict, tension and disagreement, the reversal of the Five of Swords shows that you really just want this period of fighting to be over, so that you can forgive and forget, and then focus your energies on more constructive activities such as restoring your relationship back to normal. The conflict is becoming upsetting now and you realize that there can only be losers in this battle. You now just want to put this behind you and move on.
Thus, the Five of Swords reversed suggests that you are now more open to change. The arguing is over and you are more willing to look at the situation with fresh eyes. You are willing to lay down your sword and begin negotiating, honestly trying to arrive at a win-win solution rather than always knocking heads. A return to the Four of Swords is required, where tranquillity and peace drive your thoughts and behaviour, moving away from tension and conflict. This is a good time to reach out to those with whom you have recently had conflict or disagreements, and make amends.
I hope this helps in some small trivial way- Only YOU have the power to change your future-
Good Luck-
Cursed
